Helping young people achieve unbounded possibilities.

The BUSY School in partnership with Gloucester Rugby Charitable Foundation offers a proven alternative education model.

The BUSY School at Gloucester Rugby delivers a high-quality, outcome-focused unregistered Alternative Provision (AP) for young people aged 14–18 who are at risk of disengagement from education, exclusion, poor post-16 transitions, or becoming Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET).

Based at Gloucester Rugby’s iconic High Performance Centre at Kingsholm Stadium, the provision will combine education, vocational qualifications, pastoral support, employability development, therapeutic intervention, and positive sporting influences to create a transformative educational experience.

Our personalised approach provides flexible timetables and individual learning plans backed by wrap-around well-being and career support, helping to meet the unique needs of students and empowering their personal development. Integrating education, sport, employment and well-being ensuring each young person gets the bespoke support that they need.

Our Vision

To create a nurturing, aspirational and highly engaging educational environment where vulnerable young people can reconnect with learning, develop positive futures and realise their potential through education, sport, mentoring and community engagement.

The provision will leverage the power, profile and community impact of Gloucester Rugby to inspire young people who may have become disengaged from traditional educational settings.

By working alongside Gloucester Rugby, we’re creating a place where students can rediscover their potential and take meaningful steps towards further education, employment and brighter futures.
