Internationally, BUSY has supported approximately 100,000 young people through our school-based programmes. Our education and learning model is rooted in a trauma-informed, therapeutic approach. It has been developed to foster an inclusive culture that is designed to ensure that no-one is left behind, and has successfully supported 85% of our students to progress into employment or further career pathways.
The BUSY School model provides a transformative learning environment where young people who have disengaged from traditional education are supported to re-engage and rediscover their potential through a holistic and innovative approach with a focus on vocational and employment outcomes.
Our innovative transitions service helps young people aged 15-24 to improve job prospects, skill development, and personal growth. By focusing on emerging sectors like the innovation economy, STEM, and high-demand trades, our programs help young people secure sustainable employment.
Our employer-led approach saw us place 25,998 apprentices with 13,000 employers in 2023.
We design and deliver high quality programmes providing personalised career counselling, skills training and employment support.
We work both in and beyond custody settings to support people in the criminal justice system to progress towards and into work through a trauma-informed approach designed to minimise reoffending.

We upskill jobseekers, helping over 50,000 people so far to develop essential skills that address skills shortages and build career pathways in local labour markets.
Our BUSY Sisters programme supports women into non-traditional industries, achieving an 85% retention rate for new trade apprentices, almost double the percentage of those without support.
